1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of netcoresolutions.com and its pages (the “Website”), operated by NetCore Solutions (netcoresolutions.com) (“NetCoreSolutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Chicago-based technology firm serving organizations throughout Illinois. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Website.
These Terms cover the Website only. Any services we provide, such as web application development, cybersecurity and compliance consulting, or AI automation consulting, are governed by a separate written agreement between you and us. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for those services.
2. Using the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes, such as learning about our services and contacting us. You agree not to:
– Use the Website in any way that breaks applicable law or regulation
– Try to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any related systems or accounts, or probe, scan, or test the Website’s vulnerabilities without our written permission
– Interfere with or disrupt the Website, for example with malware, denial-of-service activity, or excessive automated requests
– Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Website by automated means, except for ordinary search-engine indexing that follows our robots.txt
– Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or misleading, abusive, or unlawful content through the contact form or to our email address
– Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
– Copy, reproduce, or republish Website content except as allowed in Section 4
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability in the Website, please report it to info@netcoresolutions.com rather than testing it further.
3. No professional advice; no client relationship
Website content, including service descriptions, articles, FAQs, and blog posts, is general information about technology, cybersecurity, compliance, and automation topics. It isn’t legal, compliance, audit, accounting, or other professional advice for your situation, and you shouldn’t rely on it as such. Talk to a qualified professional about your specific circumstances.
In particular:
– Information about SOC 2 describes readiness and compliance-program consulting. NetCoreSolutions doesn’t perform SOC 2 audits, issue SOC 2 reports, or provide CPA attestations, and nothing on the Website guarantees an audit, certification, or compliance outcome or timeline.
– Descriptions of penetration testing refer to testing delivered through qualified partners.
– Using the Website, reading its content, or sending us a message through the contact form or by email doesn’t create a client, consulting, or other professional relationship. That relationship begins only when we both sign a written agreement.
Please don’t send confidential, proprietary, or sensitive security information (such as passwords or access credentials) through the contact form or by unsolicited email. Until we have an agreement in place, we can’t treat that information as confidential.
4. Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, the NetCoreSolutions name and marks, page layout, and code, belong to NetCoreSolutions or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view the Website and print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference, as long as you keep any copyright or other notices. You may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, republish, or create derivative works from Website content without our prior written permission.
Third-party names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on the Website belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them doesn’t imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.
5. Links to other websites
The Website may link to third-party websites, for example sites we reference as examples of our work, or tools and resources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms. A link doesn’t mean we endorse the site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s terms.
6. Disclaimers
The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that its content is complete, accurate, or up to date. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the Website at any time without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NetCoreSolutions and its owners, employees, and contractors won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Website or its content, even if we’ve been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Website or these Terms won’t exceed the amount, if any, that you paid us to use the Website. Because the Website is free to use, this generally means we have no monetary liability to you for your use of it.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. This section doesn’t limit liability that can’t be limited under applicable law. It also doesn’t apply to services provided under a separate written agreement, which sets its own terms.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold NetCoreSolutions harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Website or your violation of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information through the Website, including the contact form and analytics cookies.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Website, are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law. You agree that any such dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
The Website is operated from Illinois and is intended for organizations located in Illinois. We don’t claim that the Website or its content is appropriate or available for use in other locations.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Changes apply from the date they’re posted. If you keep using the Website after that, you accept the updated Terms.
12. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a provision, that doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Website.
